Jones the Dance is much more than movement. 

We are the ideas inspired by the people we meet and the histories we share.

Unearthing stories, unseen and unspoken, giving physical life to the things we feel but can’t always see.  

Our origins are rural and Welsh. 

We embrace communities, generations, languages and cultures, locally and internationally, creating  visceral experiences that connect us in ways that words can’t.

We explore big questions and ideas with courage and care.

We rethink who gets to dance, where it happens, and how it’s experienced by everyone who sees our shows, the young people who learn with us and the seasoned artists we work with. 

We bring people together to create and enjoy dance.

Dance that powers up community, creativity and all that it is to be human - in body and in soul - where everybody belongs and dance belongs to everybody.
